We started our rabbit adventure with a trio of New Zealand Whites. NZW adults average 11lbs and are what most people think of as the original Easter Bunny. They are one of the most common meat breeds and come in three approved (showable) colors - red, white, and black. A good friend of mine (as have others across the country) has been trying get ARBA to recognize the Blue colored New Zealand Rabbit, but as of yet to no avail.
